So, I have a player in my new game who wants to be a monk with flaming fist attacks – if this were still the 3.5 campaign, I’d put her in the Master of the Incandescent Flame PrC and be done. Obviously that’s not a possibility now.
I’ve looked for a way to do this, and so far I haven’t had much luck. There’s the Scorching Touch spell, but that’s not truly a flaming punch thing. The only other option I can find is the Sword of Heaven bloodline power, which would require a worn weapon in order to apply a rune effect.
Is that about it currently?

If memory serves if they were a Tultipetan they could qualify for the Tatoo warrior who may scribe tatoos on their own body, but otherwise there is no lingering effect which would allow this that I can recall off the top of my head.

I would note that Canceri is currently not a legal source of players to hail from so I would be careful about claiming to be a master of the incandescent flame.

I had a feeling the worn weapon was the only way to do it, so I’ll go with that.
