I’ve been reading Cities of Mysteries and it has swiftly become one of my favorites of the second edition line so far. So what cities would others like to see explored? I’m thinking of doing my own city write ups in 2017 (yay for free time on the horizon!!!). These are places I’m looking at \":)\"

Gondar – Capital of the Ethopian empire and said to be the Camelot of Africa. How can that city not be ripe for exploration?

Yazd – part of the Persian empire. When I get around to working up a Middle Eastern themed Order since I’m leanining heavily on Persian myth I would love to write about this amazing city.

Cairo – Did you know that it was hit with something like 50 Black Death outbreaks!!!! How is that not ripe material for an adventure. If you ask me there is a mummy somewhere in Cairo that is attracting the Black Death to the city. A Mastermind level vilain is afoot!!!

    Morocco
    Istanbul
    Boston
    Goa (Portuguese India)
Saint Louis (French colony of Senegal, Africa)

oh, and pretty much anywhere in Eastern Europe!

My research shows the site being abandoned around 1300 CE. Is the site still active in the Witch Hunter universe? If so definitely add it to the list. If it’s not it still might be an interesting place to visit.

Nice. You know, a WH version of GURPS Places of Mystery would be a fantastic sourcebook! You could fill it with weird places like this.

I see no reason why it couldn’t still be active or due to recent events in the setting itself Native Americans revitalizing the site.

Oh I got no problem with that. Personally that would be the cooler option. As I recall they had some trading links with the nations down south, so imagine wandering through Cahokia and bumping into some Aztecs…that could get interesting… \":o\" \"\" \"\"

I think adding in that angle for the Aztecs to interact would be interesting since not everyone views them as evil yet. Then the city could serve as a hot bed of New World intrigue as some European nations attempt to undermine Spain via deals with the Aztecs there.

We settled New Orleans 50 years early, I think we have enough creative license to keep the city of the mounds around a bit longer

Speaking of which …. New Orleans would also be an interesting place to see explored.

No arguments with that Eric, personally I think that would be really cool to visit and interact with a “live” Cahokia/Mississippian culture.

I’ve already written a disclaimer for the Historical Sticklers Society \":-P\"
