    Hi.

Just thought I would put some words down on paper (so to speak) to try to instigate some discussion as the forums been a bit slow

I was thinking about the dark Ellori, the Hanoi and the Three sisters (Belisarda, Lysanda and Nyal)

    1. Dark Ellori – From Night of a Thousand Screams we learn of the Dark Ellori and how they seem to be a 6th bloodline that follows the goddess Nyal. Do they have their own Ommar? Is their only one Ommar and if so why have they not been born into other enclaves. What is effect of the blackening of the Entaris Ommar?

WILD SPECULATION: They are not a separate bloodline but a corruption of the existing bloodlines by Nyal through the infection of the various Ommars.

    2. Hanoi. – We know from Tutufu’s writeup that these were once the Hunac, a vassel family of the Val’C. If thats the case, they were obviously “normal” after the loss of the Goddess. So what caused them to become the “Innocents” that they are now and how did they start to worship the three sisters.

WILD SPECULATION: Lets leave that for the next section \":)\"

    3. The Three Sisters- We have three goddesses that are worshipped by the Hanoi. One we have heard about, one we have only just discovered and one is relatively unknown. Two of the goddesses are related to the Ellori (Belisarda and Nyal) so why are humans worshiping them (although to worship Nyal results is exile from the community). We have seen the nature of Nyal through NoaTS. What is the relationship

BIG WILD SPECULATION: The Hanoi still worship Lliani, just not in the way we expect. We know that the Other absorbed Lliani and it is speculated that Belisarda was also absorbed. What if the three sisters are in fact facets of a compound deity made up of Belisarda, Lliani (Lysandra) and the other (Nyal). If thats the case, it would explain why the Hanoi worship the 3 goddesses. But we still don’t know what is the cause of their innocence and if this is correct, by are the dark ellori attacking the other bloodlines?

Anyway something I though we could talk about.

Here is what I know and suspect…

(1A)There has always been a remnant population of elorii in Ssethregore that was not part of the rebellion (see the Ssethregore book). And Ravan Tindal. So there have been at least 5 separate enclaves. And (1B) we knows the souls in each enclave tend to be recycled within that group. That is, if you were a malfelen then its almost guaranteed you’re coming back as a Malfelen. And it was never really explained how that worked (beyond Ravan Tindal having a private Creepy Entropic touched Ouremar) when the material in the books described the Ouremar in terms of a singular object. In the wake of Night of 1,000 Screams it now seem likely that Ravan Tindal wasn’t really a one off. (1C) It would appear that EACH elorran enclave has its own Ouremar that recycles the souls of each group. After reading the mod it is clear that Seremas had its own Ouremar. SPECULATION: I believe that Ouremar is now destroyed and Enatarran Elorri who die now go to some other Ouremar. If its the closest one that an elorran soul goes to, that would mean the majority of them would reincarnate in Malfelea.

(1C) Supposedly the BEAST special table discovered that Sskoreth survived antiquity by creating clones and sequentially transferring his soul & intellect into them. They aren’t keeping it a secret, but they haven’t made the time to share that publicly on the lists either. Also – bad news – it appears that Sskoreth is the Paragon of Nyal. Given that and the “Sssk…” teaser in 1000 Screams, I would speculate that Sskoreth has gotten a hold of the Ssethregoran elorii and transformed them through the manipulation/corruption of that Ouremar. (1D) Both the mods Walking on Eggshells and Gleam of Fires say that the Altherian border has been unusually quiet. Speculation: I believe that there has been a major power struggle inside Ssethregore. That would also account for the persecution of the Emerald Scale Egg Clutch that we see in Gleams of Fire. If there are three factions within Ssethregore then that might explain the references to a 3 Headed Dragon in the various prophesies that have been floating around.

(2A) The Hunoi. I see a few big possibilities for how they ended up simple: (i) the val’C did it to them either selfishly to protect their secrets, or to shield them from culpability of their crimes during the Bloodwar. (ii) it was done to them by the Imperium as punishment for their support of the valC after the Bloodwar…this is currently my pet theory (iii) some powerful agency like a Valinor did it to them in order to advance or shield its agenda. (2B) Regardless of how they got there, I really have no idea how they ended up worshipping the 3 Sisters. Its a very good and interesting question. I very much want to know how prevalent such worship is in the far West.

Hearsay: I do know that at Origins last year an elorii table asked Henry if they knew anything of the Three Sisters through legends or memories of past lives. And supposedly Henry got a far away look in his eye as he thought and then more or less said: No. All that happened before Belisarda joined with the Elemental Lords. She never passed any of it along.

(3A) Personally, I don’t think the three sisters are a weird representation of Lianni. Belisarda is the life force of the planet. Lysandra is “the protecter” and possible life force of the Green Moon. IMO neither corresponds well to a cerebral goddess whose portfolios include perception and the intellect. (3B) As an aside IMO anyone on the planet *could* worship Belisarda. Humans don’t because the PoM and their followers came from elsewhere and obviously discourages anyone from breaking their collective covenant. Not that they get many chances … the elorii don’t teach outsiders about “their” goddess. Again, would be very interesting to know more about religion in the far West where the First Imperium never held sway. I think its possible that there are “human” cities out there where Belisarda is worshipped. I also think its possible that Belisarda and Lysandra took pity on them after they were cut off/out from civilization.
