    there really needs to be a feat or series of feats that grants a bonus to perception for trapfinding

    It’s called Tombraider and there are 2 Tiers of it.

    Tier I: You may use the Perception skill to locate traps
    without penalty.
    Tier II: You require one fewer success, to a minimum of
    1, to disarm a trap while using Larceny: Disable Device.

    So this talent actually grants no bonuses to finding traps, much less anything that grants a bonus to passive perception to find traps

    Well it’s a removal of a penalty of -5 that everyone else gets for finding traps with Perception. So consider it a +5 Bonus.

    I make the assumption that the penalty applies if you’re using Passive Perception also, so this in effect gives a +5 to Passive Perception for Traps.

    That may need clarification.
