Manetas was called the God-Emperor in the distant future, that was averted with his imprisonment. Calcestus and Manetas had the same facial structure except Manetas looked better. It makes sense that Calmemnon will have the face of his father and therefore Manetas’s as well.
Considering how strangely convoluted Manetas’s plans were with manipulating Calcestus (would he ever have let Calcestus or his line rule?) I have to wonder about if we could consider Manetas sane at the time. We also know that the fathering of Calmemnon was… unorthodox. Calcestus was enchanted, mumbling, and thought Calmemnon’s mother was a different woman at the time. We also know that sometimes Manetas passed himself off as Calcestus. So what are the odds that Calmemnon was actually fathered not by Calcestus, but by Manetas?
On a slight aside, but related since Calcestus thought he was with Elazha, who was Elazha and where was she from? How on earth does someone become that important without anyone knowing where you came from?

In character that’s a possible idea if you play a “conspiracy theory” kind of guy. OOC its been revealed that Calcestus was enchanted by the val’Dellenov matriarch in a ploy to get Aconia pregnant and trap/shame Calcestus into marring her. Yes, having your own Mom orchestrate your rape is incredibly gross and horrific. Welcome to high stakes Arcanis politics.

I believe Elizha was revealed to be one of the Punhavi. The party line that was trotted around was that Illiir brought her and her entourage to the “known world” in a blinding flash of light.
