This came out of the Vault of Larissa:

“Out of the west, thousands of pounding feet
    Rush towards our beloved city
They shall first be saviors, then conquerors
He shall wear the crown of many kings
And Emperors will fall dead before him
The last was first and lost to us before she was found
Only the invisible knew her name
Until the god emperor stood on this ground.”

That sounds a lot like Lianni the youngest (last Goddess) who was lost to the Other before the PoM found her. Until the god emperor stood on this ground makes it sound like maybe our history is about to become more visible.

I do hope that we are give reasonable notice if an event has some significance for us

I know it is unlikely I will be able to cross the pond, but if I am given enough notice I can have a good crack as seeing if I can manage a trip from Oz

    Another question is …

“Out of the west comes a thousand pounding feet?”

If the prophecy is elloran, then it could be related to the coming of the PoM, but it sounds like it is a Larissan Prophecy, which suggests the 1000 pound feet are still to arrive.

I am sure those that attended the event would know more than my humble self.

The places to the West of the “known world” are Dhar Zhan Vor by Coryan and the Andai Ascendency & the Godless by Khitan/the First City. Those locations are all essentially just names to the player base. Even with a few extra things fro mtalking with Henry at Cons and/or my time in the Invisible Kings leaves a thimble half empty. There are very powerful psions in Dhar Zhan Vor (proven by the Tome of DZV). In the Andai ascendency they worship “the one true god” … and thoise priests seem to have Cants.

    And not much else.

Since part of the Prophesy says that an Emperor dies I tend to think there is a good chance that Calemnon is on his way back. Calemnon was banished to DZV, but was a prodigy of the mind since first encountered in the old campaign. Eerily so which is why given the chance the players blocked him from becoming Emperor. So if anyone could survive DZV, I’m putting chips on him. It won’t go so well for Dad and/or older brothers if he returns. This also jibes with the last part of the fluff text in Codex of Heroes:

“Like the heads of the fabled Hydra, when one
disaster is averted, there are two more ready to
    take its place.
From the far west a storm roils, a storm of vengeance
    against treacherous souls.
They sought to wash their hands of them and send
    them to their deaths. Where others found death, they survived;
where others fell into thralldom they prospered.

They shall return and exact their vengeance upon
those that cast them aside as if they were bitter fruit worthy
    only for the garbage heap.”
