Q&A p.6 – Q: How do runes like Lighting work on a weapon where they say “with a command
(Speed: +1) begins to xxx providingand +X damage bonus”? Is every attack speed
+1 or just the first one? You don’t currently answer the question about whether the +1 speed is one time to activate or every time it’s used. Or if you did the wording is unclear.With a sweep of his hat,

Fair enough,
in essence it’s active until it’s turned off or a different element is activated
I’ll clarify and post the revised text here.
March 19, 2014 at 1:50 am #259853AnonymousInactiveA: The +1 Speed action represents the “Activation” of the rune, once it’s activated it stays in effect until the wielder dismisses the effect or activates a different elemental rune, replacing the active effect with the new one.
