As characters approach or finally get into tier IV, it is time to start looking more closely and planning for tier V. The Elorii have had the tier V elementals they can summon statted out in Sorcerous Pacts, and I assume the Titan the Val’Dellenov’s summon is the same as the one a Marokene summons. But do we have a description of the Val’Borda’s Shadow Fiend anywhere?
I think we’ve got a long way to go for anyone to get to Tier V. Unless the pace of mods released or XP / mod changes, probably 2 to 3 years minimum. I’m certainly curious to see the Shadow Fiend, but unless it’s popping up as an opponent, we shouldn’t need it soon.
Yah, but since a val’Borda can get shadow stride through psionics, the tier IV val’Borda ability is only worth it if the tier V ability is worth it, so one needs to know before they get there to plan things.
