Does the fabled Gnome City exist in Milandir as was rumored in Not My Daughter and the Court of King Osric of many years past? Is it a fixed place on a map? Or is it an endless caravan of Gnomes looking for land no one will actually give to them?

When you’re alone and life is making you lonely
You can always go to Gnometown
When you’ve got worries, all the noise and the hurry
Seems to help, I know, GnometownJust listen to the music of the gnomes in the city
Linger on the sidewalk where the people arn’t pretty
How can you lose?
The star are much brighter there
You can forget all your troubles, forget all your caresSo go Gnometown
Things will be great when you’re Gnometown
No finer place for sure, Gnometown
Everything’s waiting for youDon’t hang around and let your problems surround you
There are pagent plays Gnometown
Maybe you know some little places to go to
Where they never close GnometownJust listen to the rhythm of a musician not sober
You’ll be dancing with ’em too before the night is over
Happy again
The lights are much brighter there
You can forget all your troubles, forget all your caresSo go Gnometown
Where all the stars are bright, Gnometown
Waiting for you tonight, Gnometown
You’re gonna be alright now, GnometownGnometown
GnometownAnd you may find somebody kind to help and understand you
Someone who is just like you and needs a gentle hand to
Guide them along
So maybe I’ll see you there
We can forget all our troubles, forget all our caresSo go Gnometown
Things will be great when you’re Gnometown
Don’t wait a minute more, Gnometown
Everything is waiting for you, GnometownGnometown (Gnometown)
Gnometown (Gnometown)
Gnometown (Gnometown)
Gnometown (Gnometown)August 15, 2014 at 2:12 am #264453frootsnaxParticipantUh…? The First Rule of Gnometown is that there is no Gnometown.

No? How about:
Someday like Mattawab adventures will find the ruins of Gnometown in the vastness of the tall grasses of the Eastmarch and recover an old brass bottle that summons a gnomish servant called Krego who is unfailingly polite. But the adventures will never be able to find it again. Krego, if asked, will become sulky and uncommunicative if pressed with questions about Gnometown …

August 16, 2014 at 1:31 am #264471AnonymousInactiveIt would be interesting to see how Tultipet would react to a bunch of gnomes showing up on their doorstep and offering to help rebuild in return for a place to stay or payment in kind. Right now Tultipet is in no position to be picky about offers of help. Might make for an interesting mod where the players get involved in the negotiations.

Gnomes could be the perfect stone that just needs to be cleansed.
He further believes that gnomes should not be treated so badly.

In the 3.5 modules there was mention of a Gnome settlement in the Western Lands. It was located 7 days walk from Blackwand towards Tir Betoq’s original enclave. The PC walk by it to find every single gnome had disappeared. Apparently there was a plan to release a series of modules called Dwarves of Onara that would look into this further. Only 2 modules were released leaving the mystery uninvestigated.
Perhaps they are revisiting the story.
