Society Information

Figured I would start a new thread, instead of cluttering up the rollcall. I took a quick look through the original Codex Arcanis, and didn’t see any secret society information there. The 3.5 Player’s Guide, however, does have a fair bit of information.

One thing that jumped out at me was that the 3.5 society information lists the allies of the Azure Way (AW) as being “Orthodoxy, Mother Church, Emerald Society”. The Codex of Heroes (CoH), however, describes the Orthodoxy as occasionally having common ground with the AW, and lists the Emerald Society (along with the Mother Church) as being a rival/foe.

The enemies listed in the 3.5 book do not appear to be correct any longer either. As I am new to this secret society, I’d be curious to learn whether in-game events have changed these allegiances, or whether they simply changed as a result of the new system.

By and large, the other information I found is pretty well in line with what is presented in the CoH. The ‘Organization’ section in the 3.5 book is quite a bit more detailed (with hierarchy information), but it is hard to tell what is still correct.
