The current LA Guide opens Forged in Magic: Reforged.
Does this allow a character to purchase a weapon forged of a special material such as Glass Steel or Sarishian Steel?
If there are no rules in the Campaign Guide for special items or for purchasing them in the campaign, then no they are not allowed at this time. Stating that items from that document may be used doesn’t mean they can be purchased.
Cody’s right, the only things that can be outright purchased from the FiM book are the alchemical items. Everything else is there so that if a mod says “you can get x” where x is a magic item, potion, or special material, you know where to look for the rules about x.
