I am intriqued as to why people think (adult) Calmemnon is such a bad dude. So far he has only showed up at the First City, asserted control, and went into the palace. I don’t recall him being seen since. Even assuming that he is “the Destroyer” of the prophesy, it doesn’t really say WHAT he destroys….snip…

Uh…I would go back and reread the prophesies.

My brethren were gifted with a vision, a terrible one which showed unto us the image of the God-Emperor, who would stride out from the Hidden Lands and be welcomed as Liberator only to take the Holiest of Holies by shedding the blood of the most innocent …snip… his true name is Destroyer! The Enslaver of Humanity!

That seems pretty cut and dry. …and also…

They shall first be saviors, then conquerors..(refering to the Destroyer’s army which comes out of the West).

    …however…

The Destroyer comes and clenches his hand; On enemies old and new of Man
Which suggests that the Destroyer may be needed for a time in some capacity to defeat other power blocks.

    I forgot to add …

blah blah blah the Destroyer is named … “Merric val’Cessari and along with his siblings and the rest of his murderous clan, he will tear down our world, enslave all those he does not kill and plunge our civilization into an age of ruin not seen since the Shadowed Age.

“And only I have the power to stop him.”

…Calemnon (apparently) really really hates us. So when we’re worrying about what he might or might not destroy we should put ourselves on the list.

Not that Merric is necessarily a good guy either. Hence my other post. What to do if Merric is as bad as Calemnon thinks?
