Ok, silly question time again. When figuring damage for a threat, do you figure it’s Strength or Agility in addition to its DM? Or does it simply roll dice equal to its DM, plus any excess successes from its attack (???) to determine damage dealt? Or is this already figured into their Melee/Ranged DM?

If it is already figured into the DM already, is there a formula used? +HF or +(HF*2)?

That puts threats at something of a disadvantage, doesn’t it? Not sure I like that my players get to roll up to 5 more dice per damage roll than my villain.

Judging from the DMs I see in most threats, there is more going on here behind the scenes.

Unless you’re dealing with a mastermind, you won’t see the attributes at all. And from looking at the masterminds in the book, the stat was added to the damage modifier there.

So the stat should already be included in the DM
