I’m needing to make vacations plans soon and are there intentions to have any new mods at this con in mid-November? Given the time it takes to get these through the pipeline I figure asking now makes sense. If there are no new mods at this con I will likely pass and save my vacation time for something else.

    (Bump)

It would be nice to know a release schedule for the end of the year.

Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? \":)\" Is that crickets I hear? \":)\" A simple “We don’t know yet…but we have top people working on it…top people…would suffice. \":)\"

    Hello Michael,

As far as I know, there isn’t a premiere for this convention slotted.

Thanks Henry! I sincerely hope you did not interrupt your family vacation to post this. I made sure to bother you while you took some much deserved time off. \":)\"

Thank you for your consideration, Mike. Luckily, I had just gotten home and checked the forums.

    No trouble at all.

    Thanks!

I don’t remember – were their module premieres at GenCon this year? Or have there been any new modules since Origins? If yes to either of those, will they be available to play at U-Con?

If so and those will be available at U-Con, I may still go. If there’s nothing new, U-Con is too far for me to go to for replaying mods with a secondary or tertiary character.

Last year they at least had the premier that had run at GenCon and a module or two that were newly released in November (Thief in the library, when heaven bickers, and the beltinian module, whose name eludes me). I don’t know if it any were specific convention premiers, but they functionally worked that way. Considering how hard it can be to get together a table of Arcanis sometimes, anything being released after the Origins modules, but before the convention works as a “premier” for me.

So a question about the release schedule, not necessarily convention specific – what does the module release schedule look like through the end of the year? Will there be new (post origins) modules available for play at Ucon November 11-13? If so, how many?

    Thanks!

We’re having a meeting this week to discuss just that. I hope to have some info on that topic soon thereafter.

However, I will say that we can certainly use more writers to keep up with demand.

Henry based on the Q&A at Origins we should have a few mods in the pipeline, all at various stages of development. Theoretically some of those could be out before the end of the year. Just saying.. \":)\"

Cody would you care to comment on that?

Sorry, I meant no disrespect Henry. \":)\" My confusion came because your comment seemed at odds with what was discussed at Origins. Hence my comment. Perfectly willing to wait. \":)\" The forums have been unusually quiet since Origins, and I figured the usual suspects were busy with real life. Lord know’s I’ve been. \":(\" I’ve only managed to get in a couple of games since the con.

Every time I try to contact whoever is the current lead for authors, things start moving a little bit and then the responses vanish for months. I’ve had one outline trapped in the system for what might be close to a year now, and I haven’t bothered submitting any more because my inquiries about said outline have also now gone unanswered.

Should we be contacting you directly now? I was told not to.

Not sure who told you that, but please forward the outline and 1 paragraph synopsis of your adventure to me (PCIHenry@gmail.com).

    Thank you!

Is there anyone attending U-Con that would be willing to run Arcanis Events? If there is, could they please contact me (PM/Facebook/Twitter/email/smoke signal) and we can see if we can arrange a possible (final approval pending) release for this convention.
