    Hello Linda,

    Salantis is one of the provinces of the Coryani Empire. It’s far to the south and adjoins Annonica. Primarily governed by the val’Ossan, it’s one of the poorest, yet picturesque provinces of the Empire.

    Its inhabitants are called Salantians.

    Many patricians have holiday villas here, but the people are mostly poor fisherfolk.

    There is poor and there is poor. It’s not a land of desperation where people live hand to mouth. There are a lot of worse places to live in Arcanis. I think a better way to describe would be sleepy rather than poor. Rather than a bustling hub like the big cit you are way up state somewhere among small towns….

    …with lots of fishermen.
