Will the future BIs be released as one rounders?If bis aren’t going to be released in adventure form, I would love to see official summaries of the events.
December 19, 2013 at 9:26 pm #253825AnonymousInactiveAs far as I know, the last we heard (on the old forums) was that they would be released in the same format (2-round adventures) except that one of the BIs had some sort of significant issues and may not be released for home play (not sure if it was a design issue or some mechanic that would not work for home play).

After last year’s BI, we announced that all further BI’s would NOT be released for Home play. The reason for this is that attendance for BIs at Cons since we began releasing them has dropped sharply. Therefore, the results of the event will be added as a narrative to the conclusion of the preceding adventure.

I’d forgotten about that. That was “all further”. My understanding was BIs already done by that time but not yet released (2-3 I think) would be released for home play. Did that change? Will we not see any of the other BIs released (besides HP1-7 and HP1-14)? I’d be very disappointed if the BIs before that announcement are not released.

I thought there were 3 unreleased BIs prior to the announcement (one of which was said may never be released (peaceful interlude?)). HP2-3 was the one from last year. If Peaceful Interlude won’t be released, are there any other unreleased BIs? If there are, why won’t those be released? If there aren’t, never mind – just my bad memory…

I don’t know the names as I never played them (wasn’t playing Arcanis in 2011, wasn’t at ArcaniCon 2013, and opted not to play at Origins 2013 (probably would have if it was a con exclusive so I can see why they will stop releasing them for home play)).

The Origins 2013 BI is actually entitled Ancient Battles Unfinished.
Coming of the Destroyer is the whole story arc and refers to something else entirely.

December 21, 2013 at 5:09 am #253934AnonymousInactiveThe reason I asked about the anticipated end date for this arc and whether or not we’d be staying in the Blessed Lands for Arc #3 is because the ‘estimated delivery’ for the First City source book isn’t until Sept ’14. If we’re leaving the Blessed Lands after, say, Origins ’15, then that isn’t a lot of time to make use of the book for writing mods etc.
