    I would still like to hear from someone official what the main event/theme for ArcaniCon 2016 is. I would think at this point some ideas have been worked on. While the Auxunite fortress idea is cool I would be open to some other locations. There’s some funky things in the Hinterlands that might be fun to check out. Maybe something down south in Altheria or the Western Lands. As long as we have the mix of social interactions and combat that I experienced last year I’ll likely be happy. \":)\"

    We are 7 weeks out from Arcanicon. Any ideas from the powers that be as to what’s going on at the con? I realize things change but would still like to hear what’s being planned. Thanks!

    In the arcanicon 2016 registration post Tony announced that blurbs would be out in mid-January. That’s anywhere in the next week or so. If you missed it, go register your character http://forums.paradigmconcepts.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2103

    Given that Tony is currently in Mexico for Cody’s wedding…you will probably have to wait for blurbs. As for judging, sign up on the Google doc and shoot me a pm.

    So Eric, are you implying that there is a blurb that you could hate so much that you wouldn’t come to Arcanicon? I just trying to imagine what that would take. “come explore the secret repository of the last 1,000 years of imperators nail and hair clippings on a 4 hour search for the first emperor’s!” or maybe “The ruler of the first city needs your help organizing his larder, so the people can survive the coming famine, bring your spreadsheets and noseplugs, as you discover whether the kitchen staff’s rumors of a lard demon are true…” Oh, I know! “Come join a book burning in the first city, and see if you can rouse the mob into a riot against the erudite, and destroy every single book store in the first city!”

    No, I believe it’s more he wants to make absolutely sure the con won’t be cancelled before dropping the money on cross country airfare. Blurbs provide that extra level of comfort.

    +1 on what Hat said.

    Theoretically, if there was no “special event” and all mods would eventually be released for home play then I would also save my money for Origins…or Mexico (…looks out window at Oregon rain…). But I can wait for a post wedding update. That counts as a pretty airtight reason for a delay.

    Ok, I’ve registered under Acturis. But for the right blurb, I’m considering taking Bardus instead. Any ETA on Blurbs, and how would I switch PC registry?
