    hey guys,

    I’ve been talking with David Chappel OOC about the Arcanis “Conspiracy theories” and we’ve cycled back around to Umor. I’d like to share the story between Lianni and Umor with him. But I won’t do it if there are a number of voices here that object. Or would prefer some kind of strings or limitations attached.

    Hello Eric,

    I can’t tell you not to share that information, please remember that the val’Cessari and all the information associated with it were rewards for the hard work you and the others did as Invisible Kings and Queens.

    You guys are welcome to share this private information with others outside your circle if you wish, but I thought I’d at least put that out there.

    Thanks Henry for the heads up. That’s why I’m asking other IKs on this group list for opinions before just blabbing to someone. If a discussion comes up with other long time Arcaniacs that’s directly on point I’m generally happy to share … but I don’t want to ruin anyone else’s fun either. If there is a consensus (or even a minority) that thinks it’s still too early to start letting he cats out of the bag I’ll remain quiet. I’d remain quiet too to prevent spoiling a “big reveal” in a future up/module too. I want to be a responsible custodian for shared secrets.

    It was concern that Ilak might pry val Cessari secrets from Tukufu’s head that kept me from taking the Ymandrakes mind link.

    Hi there

    Just my personal thoughts.

    I don’t know David (not surprising as I am over the pond), does he actively play or is he an old timer just keeping up with the story.

    Generally I have no issues, but I think it would be a better idea to release the concepts via a story.

    Maybe with Henry’s permission and guidance we (as a group) could release a three part story that exposes the family.

    If Henry (or someone) provides the info he wants to have released then we could all work together on a final IK story line using this forum to combine ideas.

    Maybe even (depending on who is active) set a final mod in each of our kingdoms (Plexus, Metra, Emerald society .. Not sure who else is here) as a capping of the old program/

    Just some thoughts on a Wednesday morning and this is assuming Mr H has no plans in the pipeline.

    I am just waiting for someone (not of the family) to gain the hidden information and ask Ambassador Tukufu (in character) about us or the val”holyrn. \":lol:\"

    On a side note; there is a quote in the book from Marco that lists him as Marco val”Cessari. I gave Henry both his names (val’Cessari andval’Sheem). I do not know if it was a deliberate use of the Cessari name for all to see

    Hi Henry

    In regards to armor, weapon, etc. Would we know it through the teachings of the family. I must admit Marco would probably have used the holy weapon if he had a choice.

    He is always praying to the Goddess for strength and guidance (he just does not say which one; and people assume Larissa \":)\" )

    I am very sorry about that, Dean. I don’t see a dual listing of names and I thought about asking you, but didn’t see you online.

    Below is what I recieved from you in answer to my quotes email:

    Hi Henry

    here are my answers

    1. The name of the character that you’d like to have the quote attributed – Marco val’cessari

    2. Race – Val (Cessari)

    3. Dominent Archetype (Martial, Arcane, Divine, Expert) – Arcane (Psionic)

    2. Any preference as to tone – snarky, matter-of-fact, sarcastic, etc. – Sad, contemplative & resigned.

    Thanks Henry.

    Taking Divine (a) or Templar (ba) still wouldn’t be a viable choice, since we ‘know’ the goddess is dead. (At least our knowledge is that she is dead…)

    Question

    Given that Divine Cants are not direct powers of the gods, but formula passed down through the clergy to effect a particular effect; would Divine (a) or Templar (ba) be unavailable?

    Now from a “the information has been lost” POV I would say yes; but if the secrets of the val’Cessari include the lost cants then maybe not as we do not need our goddess to be alive for them to take effect.

    Just a thought.

    Hi all

    I have noticed that there are a few people talking about the Goddess of the mind and Lianni by name.

    Was there an outing at origins that has made the information available to the non family members?

    There is an outing but it’s not us … in the Blessed Lands book are three coded passages. Lianni and the Val C get discussed. People OOC now know of Lianni as the Godess of the Mind…and if they think about it … the connection to the underground location in Price of Honor
