i keep thinking of this as the “no really you have to have divine spellcasting” rule
that being said, I’d be willing to bet this distinction wont matter to Heroes, because if they are taking the Templar background or path its specifically to get access to divine spell casting
We can always make the requirement the ability to cast a spaific Tier I Anshar spell
March 15, 2014 at 11:32 pm #259288AnonymousInactiveyeah but you have to make it also apply to the val inares also dont you?
March 15, 2014 at 11:34 pm #259290AnonymousInactiveCan’t this just be added to the Divine Archetype as a “Special” for Anshar worshippers? Like the Special for Sarishan worshippers?
Or can it be added to Divine Spell Casting as a “Special” so that when a character learns Divine Spell Casting as an Ansharan they gain the free Talent?

March 16, 2014 at 2:14 am #259314AnonymousInactiveRequirements: val’Inares. This talent is also for Priest of Anshar who may learn it through paths and backgrounds. e
and I added this
Page 99 (Errata)
Divine Archetype: Between the Spell Casting Talents and During Hero Creation add the following line.
Priests of Anshar: Also gain the Path of the Stars talent (see Val’Inares bloodline powers page 219) regardless of race, if you are creating a Val’Inares you gain this talent as a bloodline power.March 16, 2014 at 2:31 am #259316AnonymousInactivethe divine archtype…. ? that dosent make sense to me?
Well either that or Divine Spell Casting.

March 16, 2014 at 3:03 am #259323AnonymousInactiveWhy character creation? What’s the rational? Also, it’s rather confusing.
I think it was a better fit as an extra talent added to Anointed Priest.
Holy Champions should have access to the talent as well. Depending on Henry’s feelings on it probably should be an extra talent for them as well.March 16, 2014 at 3:14 am #259326AnonymousInactiveWhy character creation? What’s the rational? Also, it’s rather confusing.

BTW it stays an extra talent for Anointed Priest… take a look..
March 16, 2014 at 3:22 am #259328AnonymousInactiveSimilarly, as I was explaining to Peter, an Ansharan Guard (Templar BACKGROUND) doesn’t know how to open Her gates. That falls to Her priests and Holy Champions.
I think adding Devout and adding requirements, Divine Spell Casting T1; and Anointed Priest of Anshar or Holy Champion of Anshar is neater and cleaner. I think this is preferable to adding anything to any Archetype change for a specific god. Also, Anointed Priest is a must have for any (most) divine caster, so not getting the talent would be their own fault.

Anointed Priest gets it for free in the current errata
Divine Spell Casting T1 works though
March 16, 2014 at 7:32 pm #259399AnonymousInactiveplease dont make it part of the archetype, that just doesnt make sense
id rather have it the way it was before moving it all over and devout and requiring actual spell casting not just access to spellcasting

What Josh said. Adding to Archetype is messy and unnecessary.Prerequisites: val’Inares if taken as Racial. Divine Spell Casting (ta) and Anointed Priest of Anshar (pa) or Holy Champion of Anshar (pa) if taken as Devout.
Anointed Priest of Anshar should still get it as a third talent to their path.

Ok
I’ll change it and simply add a requirement in the feat requiring divine spell casting tier I
Then just leave it on the Anointed Priest
March 17, 2014 at 12:46 am #259418AnonymousInactiveDivine spell casting and worshiper of Anshar, don’t want anyone to get any ideas.
