By the way Dave you played In Plain Sight at Cincycon in May. At least with one character. Remember I almost got a TPK at that table.
November 5, 2015 at 2:51 pm #270203AnonymousInactiveDo we have blurbs for the GenCon modules?
November 5, 2015 at 3:18 pm #270204AnonymousInactiveI know from talking with a good friend who went to Origins that the Hard Point is Upon A Distant Shore. It takes place in the First City and is of interest to Beltinians. Beyond that I know nothing that I’m not posting here (to be sure it’s only the name of something). As for the soft point other than the title (Of Morals and Ideals I believe) I don’t know anything. I too would like to see blurbs.
November 5, 2015 at 4:25 pm #270205AnonymousInactiveAs of the first page Morals and Ideals was released at GenCon. I can post the blurb for the adventure if you’d like, but I can tell you that you start in Savona and that drama is involved
. More info will be released either by Joe or Matt, or me with their permission.Sailor-y people may well enjoy the adventure, however.
November 5, 2015 at 4:33 pm #270206AnonymousInactiveSo I should play this first with my Undir water elementalist?
November 5, 2015 at 4:38 pm #270207AnonymousInactiveEven Death May Die by Mark Richardson
“A Coryani senator wishes to hire the Heroes to retrieve a powerful relic from a lost tomb of the Myrantian Hegemony. A relic that could turn the balance of power in the region.”With a title like this I think I should play this first with my Holy Champion of Neroth (Deathbringer in Training) Arun (aka cranky Tultipetan dwarf)
November 5, 2015 at 6:05 pm #270209drafitParticipantHello,
“Even Death May Die” will not be premiering at U-Conn as it is not ready.
We’ll announce the replacement when able.
November 5, 2015 at 6:18 pm #270210AnonymousInactiveBummer
That said I would rather replay a good mod than a premiere that needs work. Thanks for the update Henry!November 13, 2015 at 7:38 pm #270278AnonymousInactivetoodeep:
I’ve got a friend of mine with a val’Vascik Crusade character who might be interested in playing these mods. I have some 1.5 secondary characters that I might be able to change to Crusade characters. What sort of character is yours? I ask to see what I would need to bring to the table.
Now to be fair if I can get a later mod that I really want to play I may have to drop out, but I won’t know that until I get there. But it’s been a long time since I’ve played these three so they will almost seem like new again.

We are now only a week out or less. You and your friend still available to play fri morning and afternoon on some crusade mods, Haakon? I hope I can round up another player too, and that leaves some open slots for anyone else who may wish to play. Is there someone out there who might be willing to judge?

One week out. Any word on if there will be a replacement? I might try to arrange an open library table on sat morning to replace it, and some planning time would be helpful.
thanks!
November 13, 2015 at 9:37 pm #270281AnonymousInactiveMy current schedule has me playing the two GenCon mods on Friday. We won’t be onsite until after lunch since we are driving up from Cincy. I was scheduled to play the two new mods on Saturday with an Open Library slot Saturday night. We have to leave Sunday morning early because of a personal matter.
That said we may be able to adjust our play schedules. As long as I get to play Upon a Distant Shore, Morals and Ideals, and When Heaven Bickers, plus whatever the replacement for Even Death May Die I’m good (as long as my friends agree–which I don’t see as a problem. As long as schedules can get ironed out on site we should be good for whatever.
November 14, 2015 at 2:53 pm #270296AnonymousInactiveOK, so is there anyone interested in any open library gaming friday morning or sunday morning?
November 14, 2015 at 4:38 pm #270298AnonymousInactiveI’m interested in Sunday morning. I might be interested in Friday morning but I won’t know until Thursday night or Friday (not sure how far I’ll get Thursday or exactly what time I’ll get in Friday – it’s a 10+ hour drive for me).

November 17, 2015 at 5:16 pm #270331AnonymousInactiveI signed up for an official open lib slot on Fri 3pm and Sun 10am. I’m not sure if you were including those who signed up for open lib or not.
If you are intending to include those who officially signed up, I have no chars that can play Desperate Measures (Fri 3pm). If these are only for unofficial open libs, then you should probably remove me from Sun 10am (since I signed up for an official open lib).
Otherwise, the proposal looks fine to me. As I said, I may not make it there early enough from a Fri 10am slot (but I’ll try).
