So what’s this con like for Arcanis? Thinking about going this year.
August 5, 2015 at 8:38 pm #269259AnonymousInactiveSo who is organizing events for UCON? How do you sign up to judge? Will there be any events prior to Friday’s 8:00 PM slot? If not currently on the books, how can we volunteer to run earlier events?
August 6, 2015 at 12:48 am #269268AnonymousInactiveHey Eric that’s not a bad idea. I’d be willing to judge a slot or two. Might be able to talk John O. as well, that would give us three GMs for a slot. Of course who knows how many players we would have. Even if it’s just us folks who get there before the last slot on Friday it’s worth considering.
August 6, 2015 at 4:07 am #269273AnonymousInactiveWhich UCon is this? The one in November near Ann Arbor, MI?
August 6, 2015 at 2:44 pm #269282AnonymousInactiveYep that’s the one we’re talking about Steve. Are you going? Huge Ss’ressen is always appreciated in a fight.
August 7, 2015 at 3:15 am #269304AnonymousInactiveI don’t know yet. My vacation plans for the fall changed so I may be trying to hit a few cons in the midwest.
How does event registration work for events at UCon? I don’t want to drive/fly all the way there if I can’t get into games that I want to play.
Does anyone know of any other good gaming cons in the midwest before the end of the year? Ideally within 8 hours driving of Minneapolis but I may go further for a good con.
August 18, 2015 at 10:35 pm #269403AnonymousInactiveI’d love to play earlier in the con…I can also judge if needed.

August 19, 2015 at 4:21 pm #269410AnonymousInactiveIf there’s enough of us there for the early slots I would think we could set a table.

I’m up for that!
August 20, 2015 at 11:50 am #269424AnonymousInactiveSo what mods could we all agree on for say slots 1 and 2, and who’s judging?
August 26, 2015 at 1:59 am #269467AnonymousInactiveUCon is being worked on. We have someone trying to set things up with the con organizers now and will give specifics as they develop. The convention itself just strted asking for event submissions this week.
For those who dont have the information, it is Nov. 20-22 and their website can be located at:

As I recall from looking at last years offerings there were no mods in the Friday morning and afternoon. If it’s a question of judge availability some us driving up could help out. Who’s working out things with the con staff?
November 10, 2015 at 2:38 pm #270262AnonymousInactiveHi. There were no plans to run morning slots on Fri or afternoon slots on Sun. Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.
November 11, 2015 at 2:48 am #270264AnonymousInactiveThat’s okay we’re good. More slots would be nice but what we have is good.

As Heaven Bickers, Hell Does Not Rest by Cody Bergman
“And so did Illiir cast the Giants down, forcing them below those they once tried to dominate. Forever more, he did decree, that they would serve those to atone for their sins.”You are called to Tir Betoq at the behest of the King himself. However, as Tir Betoq literally borders the lands of the Fiendish Expanse, it seems that what he will ask of you is likely to take you into hell itself.
Thief in the Library by Akira Currier and Marc Davignon
The Grand Library of New Althré is possibly the most important and revered center of higher learning on Onara. Each tome and scroll contained within is considered more valuable than gold, and are closely guarded by the librarians. Who is responsible though, when those writings begin to go missing? - AuthorPosts
