    The thing is the character is originally from Canceri, but his actual homeland would be Altheria. So technically he’s not from there anymore. Seems that’s whole point of the background.

    Cancer I is, last I heard, not a valid option for any character, even an Exile. You can say he was born in Cancer I, but assuming rules haven’t changed nothing mechanical can come from Canceri (as in Exile where you choose skills and whatnot).

    Just a question for online play and PbP – we always had one player sign the VCP is user name (e.g., PeteZero in my case) with his email address, I hope this is sufficient? Also for signing player certs? I think a valid email address should be enough – mabe put something like this in the campaign guide?

    Thanks for the input Cody. I’m not necessarily married to the character concept as is, so I’ll rework it to reflect he’s not from Canceri. Or just scrap it altogether. To be honest what I really want is to play a Khitani character, something I’ve wanted to do since year one of the 3.5 campaign. \":(\"

    If PCI gets the Blessed Lands campaign book Kickstarter going (probably not till the new year the way things are looking right now \":(\" ) they may provide the option to make a Khitani character as we may yet get some information about that Empire. Until then, the closest you can come is making a Zhuan from Censure.
