The only upside to the lyre is the +3 from it being Legendary. I can’t think anyone will have a high enough perform to use it offensively. An additional flaw to it is that it effects you if you get angry I believe.
I bet Pauls character would have enough ranks.

Yikes! As a tier 1.6 character Vincens I sincerely doubt I had enough ranks to make good use of it currently. Honestly, that’s irrelevant. As a faithful follower of the Church of Cadic, Vincens would have turned himself over to the Church (and I my character to Tony) as soon as the adventure ended. I’d be figuring out which of my various character ideas I was going to play next. Glad I missed it.
With a sweep of his hat,
Paul

It’s an artifact
They probably put it here, so they’d know when it leaves.March 12, 2014 at 12:58 am #258600AnonymousInactiveJust because WE don’t know what it is, doesn’t mean THEY don’t know what it is. . . Similarly, just because they didn’t know where it was, doesn’t mean they don’t know WHAT it is.
March 12, 2014 at 2:40 am #258611AnonymousInactiveI mean. I don’t see Thesos mailing out invitations to the Church of Cadic to check out his new lyre.
March 12, 2014 at 2:58 am #258616AnonymousInactiveSomeone(s) released a NINE foot tall Ardakene Elorii. Rumor has it they found him in a jail cell. They opened it, he was crazed and feebly attacked them, they knocked him unconscious and left… but didn’t lock the door behind him… When he awoke he left.
March 12, 2014 at 3:00 am #258618AnonymousInactiveDon’t think of them as Flaws, but rather character growth

In addition to “Stupidity leads to character creation” and “Actions have consequences”, Arcanis can now add “That which doesn’t kill you will leave you substantially more flawed”
There was no way to know before you grabbed it. We even tried to ditch one of the cursed items, but another table was actively trying to screw my table over and prevented it.The ring was pretty obviously ‘bad’ but yeah the others had no indication, unless you made the Myths and Legends checks beforehand

John
There was hints that ANYTHING in the room where the ring was found was bad.

I know that someone at the table I was at also picked up the that particular item.

I had assumed it was the elorii table…but late was told by someone else it was the BEAST table.
March 12, 2014 at 4:11 am #258625frootsnaxParticipantOkay, what was the weirdest conversation your table had? With giant spiders, angry ghosts or anything else.

This wasn’t a conversation, but my table is the one that caused the floor in Nier’s shrine to collapse. Poor Lady Nona lost 2 of her dogs to the fall. When they got to Level 1, their bodies weren’t there, nor were the saddle bags. She expected to find them in the belly of the Holothurian (Which they killed) but no luck. It wasn’t until later that the poor things came limping back to her and started ravenously biting at the other characters that she realized they had been possessed by mournful ghosts. She was forced to put her dogs down again
(Thanks to suggestions by her loving husband)

March 12, 2014 at 2:05 pm #258658AnonymousInactiveWell, not sure about weirdest conversation had at the table, but the “I’m going throw a pillum at the dragon, I’m bored.” was one of the very ‘OMG! DON’T!!!’ moments.
