Streetwise: a tour guide book. Something with maps and info on the location.
“Lonely Onara Travel Guidebook: A Hero’s guide to wonderful places (that can kill you).”
Exactly.January 30, 2014 at 4:51 am #256042AnonymousInactiveFor my Undir Shaman a “masterwork” musical instrument to aid in his perform checks when he sings his bawdy (mostly
sea chantiesFor my Beltinian priest Haakon a book on religion to aid in Knowledge (Religion) checks.
For my Ss’Ressen (going for Sentinel of the Blazing Wyrm) probably a cookbook on “How to serve Man”
Haven’t decided about the fourth item I bought.
January 30, 2014 at 4:57 am #256043AnonymousInactiveI’ve been stating that my primary is the scion of a Patrician family (despite being an Initiate), and that he carries around a signet ring with his family’s crest on it to represent this. I now intend on canonizing this item to give me a +2 to Etiquette rolls. Not the most useful, but it is a nice piece of continuity for me.
Amanda. . . not sure. If she gives it to her elorii it may be a necklace of fingers for Intimidate. If she gives it to the Gnome, it’ll probably be a jester hat to give her a +2 to Perform (Dance).

January 30, 2014 at 1:45 pm #256049AnonymousInactiveFor my primary, I haven’t decided. I was thinking about a set of exceptional smith’s hammers, but with Artisan being more or less useless, I was also considering a steel-bound holy book (bonus to Knowledge: Religion). Also thinking about an item that would add to Perform: Oratory…basically I have no idea.
Similarly to Cody, I’ve RPed my secondary as wearing a full bear skin as a cloak, and it will be getting certed…bonus to Intimidate.

The simplest answer is anything that helps hold the audience’s attention and focus on your performance. It could be something handheld – rattle, scepter, something with ribbons to help pull the audience back in. It could be a mantle of authority – something someone back in a crowd could see that would encourage them to pay attention. As an alternative, it could be a book or scroll of tips from a master orator on how to move an audience.
For my primary I’m picking up a lyre to help keep him calm.
With a sweep of his hat,
Paul

As long as the man realises what it means *before* they get on the ship that is sailing to the larder.
February 21, 2014 at 10:45 am #257198PCI_AdminKeymasterDenevir the Gladiator gets Last Year’s Sicarite Championship Baldric, which adds to her Intimidation by being huge and shiny and studded in obviously fake gems. Allegedly it also causes the bearer’s voice to carry further, but that could be because they feel more inclined to posture and bellow and perhaps tear off their tunic in a display of raw might.
Vaize the Templar of Belisarda gets the Deep Water Sutras. These many verses dedicated to the contemplation of Belisarda induce a shallow hypnotic state that grant them who memorize them a bonus to Theurgy (Belisarda) as their mind becomes more open to the inherent sublimity of Her.
D’serrat Val’Mordane gets a pouch of Milandesian Rum. A shot of courage, a taste of the homeland, clear the road’s dust from her throat -just enough to loosen her up and put fire in her guts, and grant a bonus to Mettle.
That is one advantage the living will never surrender to the dead: courage.February 21, 2014 at 11:34 am #257199frootsnaxParticipantDenevir the Gladiator gets Last Year’s Sicarite Championship Baldric, which adds to her Intimidation by being huge and shiny and studded in obviously fake gems. Either that or glasses, +2 Perception.
