Arcanicon 2017 [Official]

I’m organizing two more tables for open Arcanis games, one for Thursday and one for Friday. I’ve got 3 players for each table already. Expected average Tier is 3.1.

T-Minus 1 month to ArcaniCon!

ArcaniCon this year is in Romulus, Michigan at the Wyndham Garden Romulus Hotel (http://www.wyndham.com/hotel/48680) from March 10 to 12, 2017. You can go to the website and get discounted rooms by using the code ARCANI.

The rates should be:
Double room with Queen beds – $94
Double room with standard beds – $86
One King Bed – $86
Suite – $105

The main adventure is an ARG-system event, though we will offer 5e material as well for those who wish to try/play that system. We plan on running 2 Soft Point Adventures (penned by Sean Esterline), another Marketplace, and an Interactive event. The whole storyline starts off when the Heroes get an invitation to go to Metra to meet with the Coryani Satrap Solumel, which is short on detail and high on ominousness.

We will also be offering GM’s to run any and all of the Living Arcanis 5e Adventures being released in preparation for the premiere of Arc 3: The War of the Paragons at Origins 2017.

I’ve been working on writing an interactive LARP set in Arcanis and would like to offer to run it in extra time at ArcaniCon. We could potentially play it Friday morning, maybe Saturday morning (if that time isn’t taken by ArcaniCon), or anytime Sunday. High General Menesis val’Tensen of the Coryani Empire attacked and conquered part of the neighboring Duchy of Moratavia before the Emperor and Senate pulled back on his reins out of fear of his personal ambitions as the rivalry between House val’Tensen and House val’Assanté grows. The strange foreign Queen Alezha has been seducing Emperor Calsestus Erasinus val’Assanté, thereby leading to an unusual alliance between House val’Dellenov and House val’Sheem. The Sword of the Heavens and his Swords of Nier have been conquering the country of Canceri and threaten others, perhaps the whole of mankind. The latest prophetic dream of Patriarch Felician val’Mehan is starting to come true, and His Holiness realizes that a secret message from his rival and cousin Palic val’Mehen may indicate the time for the Mother Church to take unheard-of action. Now, the Coryani Senate, the Cancerese Nihang Council, and the Council of Archprelates of the Mother Church meet separately to make decisions that will shape the future of the lands, religions, and peoples across the continent of Onara. This is an interactive LARP (non-combat) focused on politics, noble houses, churches, bargains, secrets, and intrigue. Duration of about 2½-3 hours. Characters are all pre-generated (senators, nihangs, and archprelates). This is not part of the Legends of Arcanis shared campaign.
