oh, sorry – I did see that a few days ago. I misunderstood and thought you posted an update to that post.
Sorry.
Thanks for posting!
December 14, 2013 at 3:10 am #253369AnonymousInactiveEveryone be honest….you are doing the “happy map dance” right now, aren’t you?
December 14, 2013 at 3:11 am #253370AnonymousInactiveI am. I’ve been looking at that cutaway that Henry posted with Onara and the Southern Continent overlayed on an Earth map for months now longingly
December 14, 2013 at 3:58 am #253372AnonymousInactiveI’m surprised there are still 2 seats at the second table available. I’m kinda tempted to snag a second.

If I could afford to
December 14, 2013 at 4:04 am #253374AnonymousInactiveI know, right… I originally got a seat tonight, thinking they would go fast, but one of the BEAST members got the whole table, so I have a seat there. I released my seat, thinking I’d give someone else a chance.

December 14, 2013 at 4:36 am #253375AnonymousInactiveHi, all.
My name’s Andy Law. If you don’t know, I’m the chap who will very soon be drafting a huge poster map for this Kickstarter since the $11,500 stretch goal has been blasted through.
I’m super excited, and thought it would be nice to drop in and say hello.
December 14, 2013 at 4:42 am #253376AnonymousInactiveHi, Andy! Welcome to the Community!

Thanks, Nierite. An absolute pleasure to be here.

Can’t wait to see your work on this project!
December 14, 2013 at 9:48 am #253389AnonymousInactiveThat table went too quickly. Thems the breaks.

Hi, frzntundra4. I agree, maps are awesome.
And it’ll be quite a while yet before you see my work. I have a lot of research to do first — every book to read, for example, then read again, and again — and the Kickstarter has a long, long way to go yet before it’s over and the real work begins.
But, yes, I’m excited. This one looks like it’s going to be lots of fun to put together.

Hahah! It wouldn’t be the first time if that happened. I’m a fairly long-term roleplayer — been in the hobby for about thirty years — so I’m always scouting for new material. Thus, obviously, I’m really looking forward to devouring the books. For fantasy cartography, it’s amazing what unexpected information you can find squirreled away in the darker corners of an rpg book, so I like to read everything before I start mapping, where at all possible.
It’s going to be a busy Christmas in my house, I feel.
