why a 5′ radius instead of a 10′ ?
is that instead of a speed change? I think that that pushed the spell farther away from what it was originally intended for, and a heck of a lot worse than a one point speed change.

Yep.. no speed change.. range of 5′
so its a fast heal or group buff (where it shines btw) that can also damage enemies
::points at nerf hammer:::
March 14, 2014 at 4:41 pm #259077AnonymousInactivepedro you can point at the nerf hammer all day, it doesnt make it a good option, or an option that wont really piss people off

at 10′ don’t we still have all the same issues?
if you all think I’m off here, I’ll change it to 10′
March 14, 2014 at 4:54 pm #259084AnonymousInactivei was happy at 10′ and adding a point of speed
March 14, 2014 at 4:56 pm #259087AnonymousInactiveok,
+1 speed and 10′ Rad…
we will see how the players respond to it.

Tradition: Deity [Tier I]
Category: Advanced
CTN: 18
Speed (Strain): 4 (+3)
Range: 10’ Radius
Duration: Instant
Defense: Discipline
With a solemn prayer you open your self to your deity’s power, allowing it to flow through you and out over allies and enemies alike.
Effect: All creatures within the spell’s radius are healed (Primary) Stamina with the exception of those creatures that are part of another sect. (See Righteous Edict sect examples, A: RPG) Those creatures, if successfully affected by the spell, suffer (Primary) Stamina damage that bypasses all AR. This means in mixed parties it is possible to damage your allies if they are not part of the same religious organization.(same adaptations)
March 14, 2014 at 5:32 pm #259102AnonymousInactiveprimary damage?
March 14, 2014 at 5:57 pm #259112AnonymousInactivenope.. keep it to d8 damage…
if you make it primary, its too good for the speed cost/range I think…
March 14, 2014 at 6:03 pm #259117AnonymousInactivei feel that we are just talking in circles here here is what i remember:
I think you should change it to primary to have it miss on actual misses, and we are off setting the change to primary with an increase to speed.
we are dropping the range because its REALLY good for the range it has as a double duty spell that heals allies* and damages foes
March 14, 2014 at 6:21 pm #259119AnonymousInactiveI think you should change it to primary to have it miss on actual misses, and we are off setting the change to primary with an increase to speed.
which is why I was willing to keep the speed the same and simply change the radius to 10′

Correct..
March 14, 2014 at 6:28 pm #259124AnonymousInactiveduh what? .. soi your going to change it to primary damage?
March 14, 2014 at 6:43 pm #259130AnonymousInactiveduh what? .. soi your going to change it to primary damage?
I don’t think we should…. I think we should simply decrease the range
March 14, 2014 at 6:46 pm #259132AnonymousInactivepedro i dont undestand why you are so resistant to going to primary, can you walk me through your reasoning?
as an aside, I think you could say (primary) that does not explode

rather not brake a over reaching rule like that…. exploding primary is a core mechanic
